A Houston County Superior Court judge has sentenced Noe Borromeo Hernandez, 43, of Kathleen, to 30 years after he pleaded guilty to trafficking a 13-year-old girl. Hernandez, a Mexican national, admitted to purchasing the child for sex in Warner Robins.
Under the sentence, Hernandez will serve the first 10 years in prison, with the remainder on probation. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed a detainer on him, and he is expected to be deported following his prison term.
Investigation and Arrest
According to the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, the case began after the victim disclosed that she had been sold for sex in Warner Robins. Hernandez applied for asylum in August 2023 but was taken into custody in November 2024. He was indicted the following month by the Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit.
The arrest was supported by ICE, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Warner Robins Police Department, and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
Previous and Ongoing Cases
Hernandez is the second defendant convicted of trafficking the same minor. In May 2025, Emma-Lee Garcia, 25, was sentenced to 40 years for selling the child to Hernandez and profiting from her sexual exploitation.
Two additional defendants, Brian Smith and Demaria Williams, remain under indictment in Houston County for allegedly purchasing the child for sex.
Prosecution Team
The case was investigated by Chief Human Trafficking Investigator Bryan Kimbell and prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Maggie Meetze. Both serve in the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit, which recently expanded to include a regional office in Macon.
