Georgia Southern University and the Department of Athletics continue to closely monitor the forecast associated with Hurricane Isaias ahead of Saturday night’s football game against James Madison at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.

With the potential for inclement weather in the afternoon and into game time, the university, along with the Sun Belt Conference and James Madison, is evaluating conditions and will make any necessary decisions regarding the game schedule, from parking lots opening for the day to kickoff, with the safety of student-athletes, coaches, staff, fans, and game-day personnel as the top priority.

The game remains scheduled for Saturday night at this time (7:30 p.m.; ESPNU). If a schedule change becomes necessary, Georgia Southern Athletics will announce updates through its official website and social media channels.

Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to Georgia Southern Athletics’ official communication channels for the latest information and to plan accordingly as the weather forecast develops.
