Georgia Southern to Allow Full Capacity for Outdoor Sporting Events

Georgia Southern Athletics plans to move to full capacity at all outdoor sporting events following changes to public health guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Georgia Department of Public Health, and an updated executive order from the Office of the Governor.

Wearing masks or facial coverings is recommended at all University outdoor sporting events.

The first athletic event to operate under full capacity is scheduled to be on Thursday, May 20 as baseball hosts UT Arlington.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets for Georgia Southern sporting events can do so by visiting www.GSEagles.com/tickets. Tickets for the baseball series starting on May 20 are now on sale.

Georgia Southern continues to adhere to up-to-date public health guidelines, and safety protocols may be adjusted accordingly.
