One of the winning Powerball tickets from Wednesday was sold on Wednesday.
The Georgia Lottery said a $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold, alongside four other $50,000 tickets across the state. Athens, Martinez, Newnan, and Roswell were the other locations.
The winnings, while exciting, pale in comparison to the $731.1 million jackpot that one person landed in Maryland.
